The Office Pod Buyer's Checklist: Size, Air, Power, Certification

1. Capacity: buy for the meeting that happens weekly, not the one that happens once a year. A 2-person pod at 2.6 m² covers most real use. 2. Acoustic rating: insist on ISO 23351-1 with the door and fans running — 30±3 dB is the professional baseline. 3. Ventilation: anything under a full air change every two minutes will feel stuffy in a 30-minute call. Our pods move 70 to 560 m³/h depending on size. 4. Power and ports: universal socket + USB + Type-C inside; 110–220 V input so the same SKU ships to Riyadh, Paris and Madrid. 5. Lighting: flicker-free LED around 4000–5000 K, dimmable, with a motion sensor so empty pods do not burn energy. 6. Glass: tempered 6 mm minimum; laminated 4+4 mm if safety specs are strict. 7. Installation: two people, about 40 minutes for a single pod, no special tools. 8. Logistics: ask for CBM and gross weight per unit — they decide your freight cost more than the unit price does. 9. Warranty: five years on the frame is the mark of a supplier who expects the pod to last. 10. MOQ and OEM: MOQ 10 sets and open OEM terms let a distributor start with a pilot order before committing a container.
